Artist Statement
I use nature as a lens to examine human experience through surreal and metaphorical imagery. Focusing on plant forms, I construct worlds where I explore themes such as hardship, resilience, growth, and transformation. My work invites viewers to interpret the symbols and reflect on their own experiences.
My practice spans oil, gouache, digital painting, and drawing, and I also explore photography, experimental film, and character design. Painting and digital media remain central, and experimenting with these other approaches allows me to discover new ways of expressing my ideas and uncover new insights into the themes and symbols of my work.
